A ladies close harmony, Barberhop Chorus based in West Wales
Bluestone A Cappella formed in the summer of 2009. Founder members had previously been members of the gold medal winning chorus 'B Natural'. When the latter finished as a chorus there were many who wanted to carry on enjoying Barbershop singing and it's unique style of close harmony in a new chorus.
The Chorus is always on the look out for new members, so come and see us or get in touch via the 'Contact Us' tab. You don't need experience of choral singing - maybe you just sing around the house or in the car. You don't even need to read music. As long as you are able to hold a tune then this could be the chorus for you.
We are prospective members of the international Sweet Adelines organisation. This exists to promote ladies Barbershop singing throughout the world. The UK is 'Region 31' and holds an annual contest where choruses from all over Britain compete against each other for the right to represent the UK in the international finals in America.
